 Minister of Maritime and Fisheries Freddy Numberi portal launched "Stop Illegal, Unreported, Unregulated (IUU) Fishing" on the series of Sail Bunaken 2009.

The launch of the website which aims to combat the practice of stealing the fish is done simultaneously with the establishment of the international seminar on "Action to Minimize Intersifying Illegal Fishing" in Manado, Sunday.

Director General of Supervision and Control of Marine Resources and Fisheries, Aji Sularso as the owner said that the idea of making the website aims to increase awareness and embrace a broader community to combat global IUU Fishing.

Meanwhile, Chief Operating Officer of PT One System Solution, Rizka A Putranto, as the website said that so far there has not been up against "IUU Fishing" through the virtual world.

"This is a fetus in order to combat theft of fish through the virtual world in the long term," he said.

At least, he said that can share information about the marine and fisheries in the world. So that the expected slow-slow at the same time the portal is a program that this campaign can encompass input from all over the world to fight against theft of fish.

In the portal www.stopiuufishing.com provide facilities encompass discussion forum for opinion and input in the fight against the practice of stealing the fish.

"Our main topic is` `IUU Fishing akan although initially be knowledgeable in the marine and fisheries," added Rizka.

UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) assumes that 25 percent of world fisheries are from the practice of illegal fishing. Conditions continue to increase in the number and area, so that the main economic issues, both internationally and in Southeast Asia.

On the 18^th July 2008, Ms. Rizki Putri Amalia became an honourably guest teacher at SMP LabSchool Kebayoran. At the last day of Fresh week school, Ms. Rizki Putri Amalia gave a tutor lesson in front of the 230 newly 7^th graders on “Tips & Trick to become a smart kid at school and get a high mark by using Mindmapper”

On the 25^th June 2008, this was the historic time for ONE’SS. After a tough evaluation of Teknopreneur Award to compete with 45 contestants, the judges were pleased to announce ONE’SS to become  the 1^st runner up in the competition.

Conducted at Hotel Mulia Jakarta on the 25^th June 2008, Teknopreneur award 2008 is the first awad from Teknopreneur magazine and also the official side event of Green Technology seminar held by Teknopreneur magazine and ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung) Alumni Association year of 1978.

Teknopreneur award is a competition specified for companies who working at the field of Information & Technology, Bio Technology, Energy Industry at a size of small to medium that have making a precious innovation in the industry towards the technology revolution in Indonesia.

For ONE’SS it self – even though only could reach the 1^st runner up the award has a lot of meaning upon the business development. ONE’SS become more recognize in the ICT business industry, people become more aware of ONE’SS technology and ONE’SS is stand as not only an ordinary company but an extra ordinary company.

Our President Director/CEO Ms. Rizki Putri Amalia was enchanted to receive the award, because it was given by Mr. Hatta Radjasa the Minister of Secretary of State him self. During the ceremony, Mr. Hatta Radjasa told to our CEO “You could do better next year, there still a chance open for you”, and She said “We sure do”

From 21^st – 23^rd June 2008, ONE’SS will take a place at the Brawijaya University Job Fair in Malang East Java as a part of Brawijaya Alumni Association program in corporate with Ministry of Man Power and Transmigration.

The presence of ONE’SS at the Job Fair is in accordance to support the Ministry of Man Power and Transmigration’s program for reducing the unemployment rate in Indonesia by open some job vacancies and wish to attract the University graduates to fill in the avail positions. On the 18^th June 2008, our CEO had a business meeting with some potential Korean Companies that have similar business framework, and the result was ONE’SS is having more new Korean Partners for the e-Learning and e-Government solutions.

The latest technology that our CEO brought from Korea after the event is Digital Podium (for e-Learning), and Naval Management System (for e-Government). Therefore these 2 solutions are now included into ONE’SS product lines. Audience response System s a type of interaction associated with the use of audience response systems, to create interactivity between a presenter and his/her audience. Systems for co-located audiences combine wireless hardware with presentation software, and systems for remote audiences may use the telephone or web polls for audiences watching through television or the Internet. In educational settings, such systems are often called "Student Response Systems" or "Personal Response Systems." The hand-held remote control that students use to convey their responses to questions is often called a "clicker."

When audience response systems are used in an educational setting, they are referred to as Student Response Systems or Classroom Performance Systems. According to Kaleta and Joosten (2007), "Student Response Systems (SRS) or clicker systems are increasingly being adopted by faculty and are transforming traditionally passive lecture courses into stimulating and active classes...Once in the classroom, faculty can pose questions at pedagogically strategic moments in the course and allow students to respond using the second component of a Student Response System, the personal response unit or clicker, to send their responses to the classroom computer. These personal response units vary in size from the equivalent of a large television remote to that of a credit card, but they all essentially do the same thing. Students press a number from 0 through 9 to indicate their response to the question being asked by an instructor. The third component of a Student Response System is the receiver, which usually connects to the computer being used in the classroom through the USB port and captures responses from students' clickers"

Mr. Ken Park, CEO of BeMy&Co Korea visiting ONESS headquarter company in 24th January 2008 as part of his trip series to Jakarta. As one of ONESS partner, the main purpose of his visit  first was to give Mindmapper intensive training to ONESS boad of directors and staff to meet the request of becoming  exclusive re-seller for Mindmapper Software in Indonesia, and second also to sharing information and opportunities in ICT business and other related business for both countries.

Mr. Ken perceived Indonesia is a very big country, and there are still a lot of opportunities to dig - means the spaces are still widely open for Korean investor to come and grow their business in Indonesia. Thus the business relationship between ONESS and BeMy&Co will not only be as far as ICT but it will continue in more scientific and a real project in many different business fields...

Mr.Ken and ONESS President Commisionary Mr. Muslich Ramelan, and CEO Ms. Rizki Putri Amalia agreed to meet again on June in a business event in Jakarta which helds by both sides to bring more Korea companies to Indonesia to work together with Indonesian companies for improving the country's industry  in the next following years.

On the 27th December 2007, was an honoured for ONESS to be presented at the event of National Teacher Training Days at SMP Plus Berkualitas Lengkong Mandiri.

ONESS was presented by the CEO - Ms. Rizki Putri Amalia, gave the important insight knowledge on "The Importance of e-Learning in education" in front of 50 teachers from junior high school nationwide.

The presentation conducted by Ms. Rizki Putri Amalia was received a lot enthusiasm from the participants as believed e-Learning will enhance teaching & learning process at junior high level. e-Learning considered as one of the most powerful tool which could deliver effectiveness and attractiveness for students to learn at their own pace, therefore their level of knowledge can increase at anytime and anywhere feel unlimited.

Right at the end of the presentation, many participants were paid their eagerness to start involving e-Learning into their everyday teaching & learning. Many of them said "It's time to make a revolution in teaching and learning, the process from now shall be dynamic".

On 14^th December 2007, One’SS once again signed up agreement with two Koreans Company Joynet and SimTech. These two Korean companies however share different IT business natures. Joynet is an e-Learning solution company with its main Business Model is providing Video Streaming Solution for e-Learning, whereas SimTech is possessing its Business Model in providing Mind Mapping (Knowledge Management) solution application. One’SS and the two companies met at 1:1 Business Meeting held in Sari Pan Pacific Hotel in Jakarta. Shortly after the 1:1 meeting the twos agreed to jointly corporation and signed the MOU agreements.

    

One’ss was represented by the company’s President Director, MS. Rizki Putri Amalia, was very pleased  the departure of  the two  Korean Companies to put their trust and respect to One’SS.. As a fast growing company, the valuable event like this is seen as giving more opportunities for expanding the global networking not only as far as ASEAN but also ASIA. This is mean that One’ss is now more widely known globally.

 

The 1:1 Business Meeting event was held by BPPT and KIICA on 13^th – 14^th December 2007 at Sari Pan Pacific Hotel. The participants were IT Business players of Korea and Indonesia including One’SS.

 On Saturday 2^nd June 2007 at Universitas Brawijaya in Malang, a gracious moment had come. A true awaiting moment had finally became a reality.
